About trekking
The first trekker of nepal was Bill Tilman who got permission from the Maharaja in 1949 and he did several treks in Nepal. His treks were Kali Gandaki, Helembu and the Everest region. The second trekker or climber was Morise Herzog who has climbed Annapurna One in 1950. A ballet dancer who had a club in Calcutta in India met King Tribhuwan when he was travelling to India and Boris Lissannvich a ballet dancer requested the king permission to travel to Nepal. In this way Nepal tourism was established. From these tiny adventurous seeds, the Nepal Tourism tree has flourished and now you have ample opportunity to follow in these pioneers footsteps.
Annapurna area Trek
In the Annapurna area people can find different types of treks depending on thier time factor, from three days trek, one week treks, two weeks trek to three weeks trek.
Annapurna Sanctury, Ghorepani treks are from one week to two weeks and are modorate treks which start from the foot hills through beautiful village life. These treks go through pristine forest of rhododendron and old forest. Mountain views are spectacular.
Around Annapurna circuit is the best trek for longer adventure holiday, it starts from Besisahar, goes through Marsyandi valley passing beautiful villages and the dramatic land scape. After ten days of walking it reaches to Manang a Tibetan type of land scape and culture, before reaching the King Dom of Mustang we go through one of the longest pass in the world; Thorongla pass. Mustang is a secret region of Nepal and the land aspects are mind blowing, We complete this trek descending through deepest gorge of the world, the Kali Gandaki Valley.

In Everest region the intrepid trekker can find one week moderate trek, two week moderate trek to three weeks moderate to challenging treks
All these treks start from Lukla which will be fly in and fly out. We fly from kathmandu to lukla airstrip at 2800m. and commence our trek. On our walk there are many highlights of the trek. Namache Bazzar is a capital of Khumbu, Tengboche monastry, Gokyo lake and oviously everest Base camp.
Clinic
Most of the lands of Nepal are in the foot hills and there are no access of roads. Being a developing country medical services are in poor condition. according to the record one doctor has to look after ten thousand people. It is really costly to study medicine and after becoming a doctor usually they don’t want to go to the remote places. In the villages of Nepal there are only health post and sub health post where only first aider take care of patients. IF YOU WANT TO HELP please visit our website http://www.sanjiwani.org
